Dr. Jacob Long
Hi, I’m Dr. Jacob Long, Wilmington Cosmetic Dentist. I started The Dental Studio in the Spring of 2021, so I could have the opportunity to provide optimal dental care and cosmetic dental care to my own community and neighborhood. Through dentistry, I am able to impact people’s lives by helping them find their smile and improve their overall oral health. I would like to provide comprehensive, compassionate dental care to my neighbors and friends in Porters Neck, Hampstead and the surrounding areas.
I was born and raised in southern West Virginia. My wife Brittany and I are high school sweethearts and were married in 2010. I attended Marshall University and obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology with a minor in chemistry. In 2012, we moved to Morgantown, WV where I attended West Virginia University School of Dentistry. During my senior year of dental school, we visited Wilmington for the first time. We immediately knew this was the place we would like to raise our family and make our home.
Brittany and I have been blessed with four beautiful children, Brody, Grayson, Carter and Cannyn Rose. We live in the Porters Neck area of Wilmington, NC. When we are not in our front yard gathering with neighbors, you can find our family on the beach, riding our bikes or traveling to a new fun place. I love spending time with my family, which is why starting The Dental Studio in Scott’s Hill, near our home was so important to me. I have a short commute to the office which allows for more time with my family.
When you visit our Wilmington cosmetic dental office, you can expect to find a team of professionals who are dedicated to helping you find your smile and improving your overall oral health. We call this your “Life Smile”. My team and I will give you a modern dental experience that goes far beyond a routine cleaning. Dr. Allison Dreyer
Dr. Allison Dreyer grew up in a large family in Chicago, IL where her parents and brothers still reside today. She graduated with Summa Cum Laude honors from Carthage College in Kenosha, WI with a Bachelors degree in Neuroscience and minor in Biology. During summers throughout college, Dr. Dreyer shadowed many dentists and worked for an oral surgeon where she came to appreciate how dentistry could help improve patient’s self-confidence and overall well-being. Dr. Dreyer went on to attend Marquette University School of Dentistry in Milwaukee, WI where she was conferred the “Outstanding Achievement in Operative Dentistry” and “Greatest Interest and Accomplishment in Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology” awards upon graduation.
In her free time, Dr. Dreyer enjoys spending quality time with her family and friends, exploring new destinations through travel, and spending time outdoors. Recently, she has found joy exploring the beautiful beaches of North Carolina and frequenting the many restaurants Wilmington has to offer.
Dr. Dreyer is committed to promoting open communication and providing care to her patients that is both a comfortable and positive experience. She is so excited to meet you!
Dr. Brandon Barnes
We are excited to welcome Dr. Brandon Barnes to our practice!
Dr. Barnes is a graduate of the West Virginia University School of Dentistry, Class of 2026. Originally from Lewisburg, West Virginia, he has always had a special connection to the North Carolina coast, having spent countless vacations with his family on Topsail Island and Bald Head Island. Those experiences inspired his love for coastal living and ultimately led him to make this community his home.
Dr. Barnes is passionate about providing exceptional, patient-centered dental care and is committed to helping every patient achieve a healthy, confident smile. He believes in building lasting relationships with his patients through compassionate care, open communication, and attention to detail.
Outside the office, Dr. Barnes enjoys spending time outdoors, exploring the coast, and making memories with his family.
Dr. Barnes will be seeing patients at both of our office locations, giving patients even greater access to convenient, high-quality dental care.
Dr. Barnes is thrilled to begin this new chapter and looks forward to meeting you and serving the community for years to come!
